David Oliver (our tax guru) recommended I tell my tale of woe to y'all. I have two physical hard drives. One (was) partitioned (C&E)I installed both Partition Magic and Drive Image by PQ (Symantec) I did a mirror with "Image" and then changed the FAT32 drive to NTFS with PM. Then I blended the partition. At that point I lost ALL my data including MY Documents (windows re-created a blank one)I get error messages saying I have a non-standard drive setup. I can't get onto many web pages. DISASTER.
The company has spent three days with their best suggestions being
#1. Run CHKDSK (nada)
#2. Run a third-party recovery utility

I am hesitating to use my mirror disks (5 DVDs) for fear I'll only get ONE chance at recovering all those years work.

ANYBODY - HELP . . . or direct me to help
