Margaret (and others who might have an interest) one good way to get information on your video parameters is to click Start->Run and type in DXDIAG this runs the diagnostic on your DirectX tools on the computer, and on the "Display" tab, is the information on your system's video.
Once we have the parameters, we can take a shot at what you might need.
