Ed helped remove icons, programs, in the system tray(lower right corner of desktop)
this was at the last saturday meeting. I am not sure if it was on xp pro or media center os ( same differenmce?)
I can not find the route used . pls give me any and all methods to perform that action, anybody give me their answers and I will know the different routes,

Jim, the first way, is Start menu, all programs, Startup folder, and remove appropriate stuff there. Next, is arguable.

I saved some old links from the Call For Help TV show that was on a few years back, really a great show, and their links were chock full of good info, I saved a Best of Best list here, just in case they "lost" it. Be advised the info is a little old, so do a little research on currency before trying this stuff--I have not used any of these links for over 2 years, so I cant really recommend them
