I'm running XP home I5, 4Gig mem, and lots of disk. What would you recommend for photo slide show software to produce DVD ? 400-500 photos. current format is JPEG.
Adobe crashes with this number of photos, won't use over about .5 Gig.

Jim, I have not used XP for a while, and I have forgotten a lot about it, but this looks like a promising suggestion.

One thing I did not see and you did not mention, is that you may have to consider where you will be playing the slide show. If on a computer, it should be simple to just copy the pics to the DVD, and let the playing computer handle the access and display. If you are using a TV+DVD player, it can be a little trickier. Some DVD players are pretty flexible, but older ones may be tougher.

With the amount of malicious software around these days, rather than downloading a program, you may just want to bring your pictures on a thumb drive to the meeting saturday, and see if someone there can burn them for you.
