If you want to practice a little ahead of time for the Saturday "Trip Planning" program, maybe to prepare by developing a few questions, here is what you need to have running on your computer to be ready to play.

Google Maps -- In your browser, https://maps.google.com
Double click the map (or mouse wheel) to zoom in, drag or arrow-keys to move
Right click -> then select "Directions From here"/"Directions to Here" for a route.
Drag the blue route to add your personal deviations to your route.

Google Earth -- A program that needs to be installed
http://www.google.com/earth/index.html download and install
Double Click or mouse wheel to zoom, drag or arrows to move.
Control or Shift arrow keys to tilt and turn.
Place map pins, (using tool bar) then right click pins to get directions.

Both programs use little orange "Peg-man" (Maps, on the left, Earth on the right) to drop on many routes for street-view.
