Be sure to back up your Windows 7s important data before attempting to install the newest Windows 7 service roll-up. Two people that I know of tried to install the pack and now their computers will not start. BACK UP! BACK UP! BACK UP!

Perhaps we should have a program, or at least a newsletter article on the subject of backing up your data? I dont have much variety of experience in modern ways, because I have been doing backup with a DOS batch program using xcopy, for ~30 years. But there are a lot better options now, like cloud tools and advanced Windows tools. Is there any other member interest?

At one of the regular meetings, I would be glad to explain how I back up my data and important info. It is easy and fast. There are many ways of backing up, I use one of the fastest and surest ways.

Great idea! Will you please present this at our next regular meeting on June 11?

I sure will. Also, I will have the NEW projector. (The new projector should be here in the next few days, if it all checks out).
