You subscribe to a section on the forum by clicking to get to the location you want to monitor, then clicking "Subscribe" near the top center, a couple of lines below the "Member Forums" block.

After that when anyone posts a message to that forum, you will get an email alert. One problem from the distant past, some members had aggressive spam filtering that filtered out emails from "forumadmin"

Note, you cant self-test, beccause the Forum software knows you, assumes you know you posted, and does not alert you to your own post.

Might also mention, if you are so inclined, you can subscribe to a specific topic if you only want notification about a specific set of postings. That way it limits email clutter from the Forum.

And, I guess I should also mention for those with a touch of paranoia, the forum admins can see which topics you subscribe to, so if you subscribe to a topic about how to build a nuclear weapon in your garage, or how to wire-tap the Trump Tower, we could report you to the FBI, EPA, the Pope, White House, as required.

Just because you are paranoid, that does not mean that THEY are not out to get you.
